Water-bearing fireplace or tiled stove

What is fit for me?

With water-bearing fireplaces or tiled stoves, the heat energy can be used to support the central heating. Whether you choose a fireplace or a tiled stove depends on your personal taste: Do you prefer to create atmosphere or room heat in the living room?

Fireplace to set the mood

A burning fire spreads cosiness, not only on cold, dark winter days. For those who enjoy watching the fascinating play of the flames, slumbering in front of the fire or reading a good book, a water-bearing fireplace is recommended. Thanks to the large glass formats, a lot of atmosphere is created.

Water-bearing fireplace inserts are available in different glazing and firebox sizes. The design determines the proportion of heating water used to support the heating system.

Tiled stove heating miracle

If you choose a water-bearing tiled stove, you will always have radiant heat over many hours with simultaneous support of the heating concept. When selecting the appropriate concept, the size of the firebox (i.e. the load quantity and thus the output), the look (size of the glass) and the heat distribution (the boiler share and the tiled stove effect) are taken into account.

With the help of a combustion air flap in front of the chimney, it is determined whether it should support the heating system (heating gases flow through the water heat exchanger) or

that energy should reach the installation room (heating gases flow through the ceramic storage)

Specialist tip

A thorough examination of the existing or planned heating concept is worthwhile. It is often possible to use the tiled stove to support the heating system and integrate more regenerative energies.
