System fireplace BSK 13

Premium manufacturer BRUNNER from Lower Bavaria now also offers its most attractive panorama model BSK 13 51/66/50/66 as a BSK 13 system fireplace. In a revised version with two heat protection plates and integrated, thermally decoupled support bracket, it is the perfect deep room divider.

Customers particularly like to opt for panorama fireplaces. They offer a great view of the fire and spread a lot of atmosphere. In addition to the handcrafted and individually installed version of panorama fireplace 51/66/50/66 (pane dimensions: height/depth/width/depth in cm), BRUNNER now also offers this model as a BSK 13 system fireplace.

Support bracket and mounting frame

In system fireplaces, the shell is usually decoupled from the fireplace insert and designed to be self-supporting. With a deep room divider such as BSK 13, this principle can no longer be implemented without additional "supporting elements". The upper ring elements need a stable support so that they do not "tip" forward. The solution: At BRUNNER, the mounting frame will now serve as static support. Frame and overlying weight are held by a stable support bracket. Everything is thermally decoupled so that no clearance dimensions change or cracks/noises occur during operation. In the "support bracket" concept, two heat protection plates are integrated in the rear wall area. This makes it possible to significantly reduce the insulation thickness in handcrafted construction methods. With BSK 13, a direct, flush connection to the rear wall is thus possible. The support bracket also provides sufficient support so that the visually all-round 3-millimetre shadow gap does not change even with high thermal loads.

Wood fire as a system solution

Otherwise, the same applies to the BSK 13 as to all BRUNNER system fireplaces: Precisely dimensioned moulded parts made of thermal concrete make quick assembly possible. The components and shape are always designed in such a way that a fireplace system can also be created with extremely small footprint requirements and taking functioning and safety into account. Only components suitable for handcrafted stove construction are used, which are offered as a complete kit by the specialist company. A BRUNNER heating insert is installed in all versions. The execution is possible in different quality levels: In the practical variant with a thermal concrete shell, which is intentionally left in fair-faced concrete or with a handcrafted finish.
